Cherokee Basements and Remodeling LLC is a locally owned and family-operated company based in Ball Ground, GA. For over 30 years, we’ve been the go-to basement finishing and home remodeling contractor throughout North Georgia. Our Process

Contact us to schedule a free estimate or to discuss your project details. We’ll begin by visiting your property to view the area(s) to be finished or renovated, take measurements, and exchange ideas to ensure the best outcome. Our project photos are available for inspiration, and our design staff will gladly assist with any details, such as traditional tray ceilings or elevated coffered ceilings, barn doors and trim options, custom cabinetry, countertops, and flooring selections.

After our initial meeting, a complimentary estimate for your project will be emailed to you.

Project Agreement

Once you’ve chosen Cherokee B.A.R. as your contractor, we’ll meet again to finalize project details, schedule start and end dates, review payment schedules, and sign a contract. This is our agreement to complete a quality job within a specified timeframe and your agreement for timely payment.

Payments

Typically, payments are made in four or five installments during the construction process. A basement can usually be finished in six to twelve weeks, while kitchens and bathrooms take three to five weeks, depending on the project’s scope. Custom items may lengthen the completion time, yet our clients agree that it’s worth the wait.

We will happily address any questions regarding your project, work order changes, payments, etc. We believe that solid communication with our clients is key to achieving a superior finished project and generating future referrals.

Project Completion

Upon completion of your project, we will request a walk-through of the area(s) with you. Any items needing attention will be completed before the final payment is requested. We stand behind the quality of our work, which is why all of our services are guaranteed for one full year. Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal.
